Keeping the children entertained with Dandelion and Clover Yoga

When I think about kids parties, I think of noisy entertainment, hyperactive kids and sticky fingers, which is all great! The kids love it and it allows the parents to have a little bit of breathing space.

But what about a children’s party with a twist. Literally a twist! In fact yoga! We were recently gifted an hour of children’s entertainment by the lovely Lily and Sally who run Dandelion and Clover Yoga in South East London. You may think that yoga and children do not really mix well, yet with more yoga being taught in schools and nurseries it is a brilliant idea to keep the children entertained, and Dandelion and Clover Yoga does exactly that.

Lily and Sally were really welcoming to work with, and their passion for yoga and mindfulness with children was clear from the beginning. From the outset we were chatting openly on email about theme of the party, and we decided that this should be Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol themed as my daughter loves both of these. On the day of the party, Lily and Sally were discreet setting up and turning my living room into a calm and welcoming yoga party area with all the mats and party equipment that they needed for the event.

The children enjoyed an hour of Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol yoga games, singing, reading, and arts and crafts. They were all captivated throughout. My daughter was particularly proud of her stickered cupcake and still looks at it today.

Following the party I received really positive feedback from the other parents about the entertainment, plus it was also really nice to watch too!

Dandelion and Clover run weekly classes at the Dance Studio at Venue 28, Beckenham for a cost of £8.00 a session, or you can book a 6 week block for £40.00. All classes can be booked on the Class For Kids website, and are aimed at children between the ages of 5 to 11 years.

In addition to this Lily and Sally are happy to provide their yoga and entertainment at your birthday party – just like they did for us. They’ll find out a little bit about the child, what they like, how old they are, and they’ll craft the yoga party around that.

If your planning a children’s birthday party I would definitely recommend Dandelion and Clover Yoga.
