[AD] GIVEAWAY – Treat your child to a PlayMobil Advent Calendar this Christmas
It’s very nearly the 1st December and my kids will start asking about getting an advent calendar before I know it. My oldest will, but not my youngest as he’s still a little too young to understand what Christmas is all about. As a child we would have a chocolate advent calendar every year, and it was always so exciting opening each door every morning, I can still remember the taste of the chocolate today. Does anyone else remember that?
To avoid my children having a piece of chocolate every morning before school, did you know that as an alternative you can now treat them to a Playmobil Advent Calender. If your child likes PlayMobil as much as my children do, this is a brilliant advent calendar for them plus it’s a lovely surprise that they can keep and play with too!
For the purpose of this blog post I was lucky enough to be gifted both the PlayMobil Christmas Toy Store Advent Calendar for ages 4 years and upwards for my daughter, and the PlayMobil 1.2.3 Christmas in a Forest Advent Calendar for ages 1.5 years and upwards for my son. They are both fabulous. Thank you!
Both calendars come boxed in a cardboard sleeve with 24 doors for each day of December leading up to Christmas day. The Christmas Toy Store calendar has a different PlayMobil toy and accessory behind each door designed to create a Toy Store scene. A handy scene setter is provided with each advent calendar for the characters and accessories to be placed on which just adds to the magic. One thing to note is that there are some PlayMobil characters and smaller toys that need to be put together by your child, including some quite small pieces.
Whereas for younger children the 1.2.3 Forest Advent Calendar is perfect. This contains larger toys that are ideal for much younger children and smaller hands. The same applies here that all of the characters and accessories behind each door build up over the 24 days of Christmas to create a Forest Adventure scene.
I am so excited about giving these advent calendars to my children on the 30th November, and seeing their faces when they open the first door on the 1st December when they start to create their Christmas scene. I hope that they will be amazed by them?
Having an advent calendar is a really exciting way to build up the Christmas magic for your children this year. Plus it’s a little reminder for me to start decorating the house and getting the Christmas tree up. Now I just need to get an advent calendar for myself too!
