[AD] Styling out the comfies during lockdown with Femme Luxe clothing
This is an advertorial feature.
Ever since lockdown began due to coronavirus I have been living in comfortable clothing, gone are the days of even dressing up to work-from-home. I used to do that to change my mindset from days of looking after the kids to having my child-free work-at-home days. Now it’s all about being comfy. I mean who is going to see me apart from my kids and my husband. Even wearing jeans feels a little odd now.
So to help with my spell of wearing comfy clothing throughout the day I’ve recently teamed up with Femme Luxe who have a huge range of clothing for that very purpose including loungewear, t-shirts, and also clothing for going out in (when we are allowed back into bars and to attend events).
One item of clothing that I really love are T shirts, they can be styled with pretty much anything including jeans, skirts, shorts, dungarees, leather jackets, sandals and Converse. The list is pretty endless. They can be dressed up for a night out, or dressed down for a day with the family. I pretty much live in t shirts, and this “Ooh La La” white t shirt is one of my new faves! It’s fresh, simple, stylish and looks good with my lockdown tan too!
Femme Luxe also have a range of t shirts with alternative messaging in a white or a black fabric, so there is bound to be one for you.
Then once the daytime with the children is over and bathtime is beginning, I usually switch from whatever I’m wearing into comfy and cosy loungewear. Does anyone else do that, I hope I’m not the only one? Although sometimes this may happen a little earlier in the day. It completely depends on what we’ve been doing and how I’m feeling. There really is nothing better than getting into cosy loungewear at the end of the day is there?
The black boxy top and joggers are super comfy, plus they look good too! You could actually maybe get away with popping to the shops or doing the school run wearing these, or at least teaming the top with a pair of jeans. I love these, they are so comfy and easy to wear around the house.
My love affair with loungewear doesn’t stop there. I couldn’t have got just one set, so I also chose a set in grey. Both the leggings and top are super comfy, and also look great. The leggings are pretty tight fitting, not loose in the slightest, and I like the tighter fit here and the change in styles too!
Both of these loungewear sets are perfect for chilling in at the end of the day to a good book, watching a movie, cooking up a feast or relaxing with a takeaway whilst enjoying a glass of wine or cup of tea on the sofa. They are both made out of a soft and cosy fabric, with an elasticated waistband which helps to provide that extra comfort. I really like them both, and it’s easy to mix and match the two together as well. Just a little bit of advice for you, I would oversize when choosing these as they do come up slightly on the smaller side.
Lastly when I am back to working at home without the children hanging from my leg, demanding endless supplies of oatcakes or cups of milk, I can don this high neck belted dress to help shift my mind from cosy loungewear mum to a more focused work-at-home mum. It’s made out of a stretchy body con material, and is a good length, it isn’t too short or too long. It would look great teamed up with a pair of black tights with boots to style it up, or trainers to dress it down to give it a more relaxed feel. This is one of those dresses that you can team up with pretty much anything.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading this post, would you consider Femma Luxe clothing? For me, I’ve found it to be a great place for purchasing those essential comfies and t shirts. I would love to hear what your current daily wardrobe looking like? Has it changed since lockdown begun?

Brilliant! I’m the same. I’ve reverted back to comfy jeans and tees, but they are definitely looking past their best. Frankly, I saw a colleague in the park yesterday and we both looked at each other and said ” I hoped I wouldn’t see anyone I know, ” and laughed. I definitely need to upload my loungewear game so will check this out. Love the Ooh La La tee.
