Cute Accessories For Your Little One This Summer

Cute Accessories For Your Little One This Summer

The summer has arrived, and that means you can finally get your legs out and enjoy the feeling of the sun on your skin. It’s also a great time to sort out your wardrobe as your outfits are most likely going to change now. You can start experimenting with bright colours and patterns, and show off some skin too. But you’re not the only one who should get to enjoy the new season – your kids should too.

Children – regardless of their age – will all have their own individual personality, and while they may be a little young to do anything with it right now – with your help, you can help them discover who they are and how they choose to express themselves. And one brilliant way of doing that is through fashion.

But if you’re still not too sure and need some helpful tips, here are some cute fashion favourites.

Sandals are the type of shoe that can be rocked with anything, regardless of your gender. They could look super casual one day with shorts and a t-shirt, and then super fancy another day when matched with a dress or smart jacket, so they have multiple purposes. They are also perfect for the summer because no one wants to be wearing big bulky shoes as their feet will overheat and sweat, which can cause sores, and end up smelling too. Not only that, but the basic style of sandal is very quick to put on and take off, which makes life easier when you have young ones to deal with.

Sun hats

Get the best of both worlds by giving your child a sun hat. Not only are they adorable, but they also work to ensure your child isn’t affected by the direct sun, by providing their heads with the necessary shade to cover the sensitive spots. My Little Duckling sells a whole collection full of hats that cater to any personality with different patterns, colours, themes, and designs. And now you don’t have to worry about your child hiding away in the shadow because of the glaring heat anymore. Pair this up with a good coating of sun cream and you’re good to go.

Sunglasses are cool, and take the edge off a bright sunny day. Your kids may start to find it annoying to keep squinting because their sensitive eyes can’t handle the sun, and doing this for long periods of time can cause headaches. So get some funky sunglasses to finish their look off, and protect their eyes. One top tip though, is that if you don’t fancy picking them up off the floor and risk having them broken, then attach a neck strap to them so you don’t have to keep worrying about them falling off and breaking every time your child is playing. You can either buy one, or make one yourself – it’s not as hard as you may have thought.

Now you have some cute ideas, try them out and let your little one choose what colour they think is best.

What gorgeous items have you bought your children for Summer?
