Making life easier this Father's Day with Braun

Making life easier this Father’s Day with Braun

All Dad’s deserve a treat, just like us Mum’s do. They work tirelessly to help us look after our children, and look after us when we have just got home from hospital with a new baby. I know that it can’t be easy being a Dad especially when there is so much focus on the Mum and the baby. However with Father’s Day just around the corner, being celebrated on Sunday 17th June, now is the perfect time to show the Dad in your life just how special they are, and how much they mean to you.

I’ve joined forces with Braun for this blog post to help share some brilliant present ideas that are designed for what matters just like your Dad. I’m staying away from the usual gifts ideas including socks and pants, as they have enough those, and suggesting gift ideas that will make their lives easier and better, as we all know that selecting a Father’s Day Gift can be a challenge. These gifts are perfect to thank the Dad’s for fixing toys, decorating rooms and being on hand when we arrive home with a newborn, and I think that they deserve more than a box of chocs, don’t you?

Braun Series 3 ProSkin

This is a brand new 3-in-1 solution by Braun for any man who wants a clean shave and precise beard style, but who doesn’t want to compromise on a close and comfortable shave.

The Braun Series 3 ProSkin shaver comes packed with features including an interchangeable set of beard trimmers to get a precise trim between 1mm and 7mm providing great unexpected results.

My husband loves using his on a daily basis to remove the unwanted stubble, but also to define the areas of his beard and side burns that he wants to keep as part of his stylish look, allowing him to perfect his own unique look in no time (great for those early morning starts).

If music is the thing for your Dad then a Sonos makes an ideal present. It allow music to be streamed from your phone to the Sonos devices within your home. The sound quality is brilliant for day-to-day listening, weekend BBQs or a party to a celebrate a special occasion.

We love using our Sonos especially the multi-room feature which allows us to play different music in our living room to our kitchen, making it great for parties, or if the kids want to listen to something different.

Amazon Echo

Sticking to a music and entertainment themed present here, if your Dad loves listening his music to hand, or wants to find out the latest news and weather just by asking a question, then the Amazon Echo is the gift for him.

It comes in a range of stylish colours and fabrics, and it will therefore look brilliant in any room of your home. We particularly enjoy asking for songs on Spotify and dancing around the kitchen to music that we haven’t heard for a long time.

Leather Satchel Laptop Messenger Shoulder Bag

My husband is often on the move for work, commuting between home and the office, and between different locations whilst at work. He couldn’t live without his Leather Satchel Messenger Laptop Shoulder Bag that is stylish enough for him to wear with a suit and also works well on dress-down Fridays.

The bag is large enough to store his laptop, power cable and various other bits and pieces that are required with working in the city such as notebooks, papers and a bottle of water.

L’occitane Aftershave Balm

Lastly if your Dad loves to smell nice after a shave this L’occitane Aftershave Balm is for them. It glides on easily, and smells divine, helping to prevent any irritation as well as making their skin feel smooth and supple. My husband has used many Aftershave Balms over the years, and this is one that he finds the best.

So those are five gift ideas that you can purchase for the Dad in your life this Father’s Day. All of these gifts will certainly be appreciated and help to enhance his lifestyle, making sure that he is treated this Father’s Day rather than the one who is blowing up the paddling pool or searching for lost balls in the hedges.
