fortheloveofBLOG Week 23
Hi all! Welcome to fortheloveofBLOG this week. It’s lovely to have you back with us, and hello to anyone new joining us for the first time. I host this Linky with Fi at A Mum Track Mind and we want to thank everyone for their continued support for the Linky. We’ve had so many regular blogger return week after week, and I really enjoy reading your posts.
This week has been another busy week for us (as always). We started it last weekend by taking a visit up to parent’s house in Cambridge. It was lovely to see them, as well as having someone else play with the baby for a while. My daughter’s travel sickness which we thought had disappeared, returned with a vengeance every time we went in the car, my Bambella Design Car Seat protector helped a bit but there was only so much sick it could hold back. Work is keeping me busy, and I had a call from the nursery mid-week saying that my daughter had been sick, so could I go and pick her up, just when I thought we were over the bugs. I’m pretty sure it was teething, and she was fine to go back to nursery yesterday. You’ll see I’ve made some improvements to my blog, and updated my theme. I am so pleased I have done this, as it is something I’ve wanted to do for a while (yay, happy face).
This week I’m linking up two posts:
My first post is My Routine – The Juggling Act. I’ve been back at work for 3 months now and it is only in the last couple of weeks that I really feel like we’ve established a routine that I’m happy and comfortable with. At first I felt like I was completely chasing my tail. But now doing the nursery pick up and drop off feels normal, and returning to work has slotted back into my normal life.
My second post – How You and Your House Change with Children is all about the differences we see at home and in our lives once we have children. Before I had a child I never imagined my house would be cluttered with bits of coloured plastic and toys, now it’s everywhere and there’s no stopping it.
Featured Blogger
My favourite post of the week was Why Women Delay Motherhood written by 40 is the new 30. There is so much pressure on women to achieve successful careers, breaking down the glass ceiling, and being just as successful as their male counterparts, which is one of the reasons why women choose to delay motherhood to later in life than they would have done 30 years ago. This post is a really interesting read, and something that I see more and more. Congrats 40 is the new 30, grab our featured blogger badge.
