I’m Claire, founder of Claire Moran Designs. I’ve always had a passion for Interior Design which became more and more apparent during and after the renovation of our home that you can see here.

My style is modern and contemporary, designing homes and rooms that are beautiful whist being fully functional for you. Functional and practical doesn’t need to be boring, and there are many ways to have fun with your interior to give your space wow factor.

With my knowledge and experience I’m currently supporting clients by offering the design packages below. I understand that all projects are different and I tailor my design services to your project and your requirements, which we will discuss at the start of the project.

Our Full Service Interior Design Package

With this package I will design your space from concept through to installation, working with you from start to finish, with our approved contractors to deliver the project or working with your own chosen contractor. These projects vary in shape and size, and may consist of some or all of the following elements, which will discuss before the project begins during the Discovery call.

• We will start with a 30-minute consultation online on Teams to review your completed questionnaire and ensure a clear understanding of your design needs.
• Design and sample boards presented to you, containing for example; colour, fabric, tile, door fronts, bathroom finishes, worktop, flooring samples – the list goes on.
• 2D scaled floor plan with furniture included.
• Elevations (where required) of each wall with furniture and bespoke elements to show you how your room will look.
• Furniture selection list
• Flooring and lighting options
• Kitchen and bathroom plans. If you’re looking to use IKEA cabinets for your kitchen I can design the layout with custom door fronts that can be custom made or from a specialist supplier for IKEA kitchens.
• Procurement of all items for your project, managing this to arrive on-site on time, checking it through and handling any damages or returns.
• Site visits to ensure that everything is going to plan and to spot any design tweaks are needed.

How I work

We will start with a free 30 minute Discovery call to discuss your project, review plans and to understand more about your overall vision for your home. Following this call and should your project be the right fit for us we will carry out an in-person design briefing and site survey which is a really valuable for us to get to know each other and to discuss your project in lots more detail, there is a small fee for this of £195.00 which is taken off the final balance should you decide to go ahead.

As these projects come in all shapes and sizes I will share the final fee proposal after the design briefing has taken place.

My full service projects are split into two stage. Stage One is the concept phase where I will set the overall vision for your home, and then for each room, create simple floor plans to help you visualise your home and where furniture items can be placed.

After that I will move onto detailed design creating detailed floor plans and elevation, selecting finishes, defining the specification and giving you a full cost breakdown of items.

Then moving into Stage Two I will manage the procurement of all items for your home, work closely with our contractors or your own during the build and installation, being available at all key stages to answer any questions and to ensure that the design is adhered too or any design tweaks are made inline with the scheme, design and your requirements once the build starts supporting you through this throughout.

Our Two Hour Interior Design Home Consultations
